Recovery support for care teams

Code Calm

After a difficult clinical event, care teams need room to recover. Code Calm is developing brief, guided pauses that bring together grounding, breath, and human connection—making recovery part of the working day.

A pause for the people who care.

Clinical events can end before their impact does. Code Calm creates space for a brief, voluntary pause: a moment to ground, breathe, and connect before returning to care. Our approach grows from experience supporting healthcare teams after difficult events.

01. Ground

A moment to arrive where you are. Gentle prompts invite you to notice your feet, your surroundings, and the support beneath you—at your own pace.

02. Breathe

An invitation to pause and breathe comfortably. Brief guidance makes room to notice your breath and gently release tension, without forcing a rhythm or getting it “right.”

03. Connect

A moment of human connection after a difficult event. Pause alongside colleagues, with room for quiet presence and optional sharing. No one has to retell what happened or find the perfect words.
